Osama is an Egyptian investigative journalist currently based in the Netherlands, recognized for deep expertise in uncovering complex networks of power and corruption. Much of his work has strongly focused on human rights, illicit financial flows, and the intricate relationships between Egypt’s military elites and business figures – this has brought significant attention to issues of social justice and accountability. Due to the political repression, Osama left Egypt and started his trip to five countries while documenting migration stories along with violations of human rights. His commitment to investigative journalism is such that he carries out OSINT and data-driven approaches to bring positive change to society. He has conducted critical investigations on inauthentic campaigns targeting migrants and refugees, exposing the hidden agendas behind such Narratives. Osama is a key member of several cross-border investigation teams besides being adept in team composition and leading – which has contributed to impactful international projects that had far-reaching outcomes on a global scale.
